            From the runway to the red carpet, this season’s hottest trend is metallic sequins.  Gold, silver and neutral hued sequins glittered down the red carpet.   Some of Hollywood’s sexiest and most stylish stars sparkled in sequins.  Fashion icon Heidi Klum and reality TV star Kim Kardashian, were two of the many who wore gold sequin, sheath style gowns.  Pump up the wow factor at your prom with a sequin dress from Magic Moments. It is fashion week in New York City! The hottest designers are showing their newest looks in the tents of Lincoln Center. Fashion week kicked off with The Heart Truth’s Red Collection Show. Celebs donned designer’s hottest reds for a cancer awareness campaign. Make a statement this prom season with a bold red gown. Are bold colors not for you? Fashion Week’s runways have been littered by blacks and neutrals. Stunning and stylish silhouettes in blacks, nudes and earth tones are huge this season. Project runway fan favorite: Christian Sirano, composed a collection almost completely out of black.Look for blacks or nudes with asymmetric necklines or structural details for a refreshing take on the classic little black dress.

Another great American designer, Jason Wu, showed beautifully crafted pieces in neutral colors. A favorite designer of Michelle Obama, Wu has designed for the red carpet to the White House. Wu showcased so many beautiful cocktail dresses, but a Magic Moment’s favorite trend has to be feather skirts. Skinny feathers sewn onto a short skirt adds a touch of glamour and sophistication!

Want to stand out on Prom night? Quirky designer Betsy Johnson’s loud collection had princess style cocktail dresses.
